IT Support Field Engineer

Salary:  Dependent on Experience

Hours:  Mon-Friday, 8.45am-5.15pm

Closing Date:  1st October 2010

We are looking to recruit an experienced IT Support Field Engineer to join the MCS team based in Southport, although this opportunity will involve working at customer premises throughout the Merseyside Area.

You must have proven experience in delivering high quality service and support in the following areas:

• Diagnosing & troubleshooting hardware/software problems, analysing customer requirements and recommending professional IT solutions.
• Maintenance and support of Microsoft Windows Small Business Servers 2003/2008, Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
• Installing, supporting and resolving issues of SBS networks, PCs, Printers, Anti Virus Software, Backup Devices, Switches and Routers.

Personal Specification:

The successful candidate will also display the following qualities:

• Excellent organisational & communication skills.
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, customer focused and commercially aware.
• Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.

Excellent package available for successful applicant. A full clean valid driving licence is essential.
